Blog one post discussing your ideas for Project 3. How do you think you will approach this composing project? What things about yourself or your interests would you like to highlight? How might you be able to do that effectively? Also, what software do you think you’ll use? Do you have a few you can try?
I think that the hardest part for project 3 is going to be picking a photo to use for my project. I want this photo to be a photo that really shows who I am. I do not think editing the photo is going to be too hard, in middle school I was exposed to photoshop classes so I feel as if I have a general idea of how to use these photo editing programs. I found a really good photo editor on my computer called “polarr photo editor” this program allowed me to change the background of the picture so it can be both NYC and a beach. I decided to pick these two things because I feel as if they are big parts of who I am. I spent most of my life either in New York City or at a Beach. My family and I moved out of the city 4 years ago. We had lived there for 12 years so it was something that was really special to me. It was honestly hard for me to let it go because it was a place that I called home. I usually spend most of my summer on the beach at my beach house. My mom and I usually go during the week while my dad stays back in New Jersey and works. I think that the photo that I did end up choosing is a photo that really fits me. It is a photo of me and my friend, Matthew Murphy. In the background is Fairfield which is a place that I like to call home.
