This novel talks a lot about what rhetoric can do for society and communities. The author talks a lot about events that have happened throughout the world and how the people around it are affected. The author really wants to inform people how exactly rhetoric can be used to inform people. We have learned throughout past readings that this can be one of the most common way to use rhetoric.
I believe that this author wants to focus on the science part of rhetoric and the dangers that can be seen throughout science. I think that the authors main point of this writing was to get peoples attention about the dangers of science and finding ways to inform the people about it. In the past, many people were unaware of the dangers of science because they weren’t told that much. One example that they talk about is the human interaction with Radium. When this was first started doing tests with this, many people were dangerous with it and ignore any safety guidelines that were given.
